Just bought 1000 shares of the newly issued Retail Properties of America cumulative preferred A at $24.85. It will trade on the NYSE within 30 days and is currently trading on the pink sheets under the symbol RPAIP. It will pay 7% out to at least first call in 12/20/2017 with no stated maturity.
