Any thoughts about where to invest it.

If your plan for these dollars is to use them for your future retirement, then it must be included in total with all other retirement savings. Your retirement savings investment allocation will depend on how many years you have to retirement, the amount of savings you have accumulated vs. the amount you'll need at your first year of retirement and your risk tolerance. Picking this or that investment your friends/relatives/on-line strangers recommend to you will most likely not be the right answer.

And if you are indeed 'high income', you'll probably want to get some tax advice about now, as the taxes being paid by those in the higher tax brackets will be going up starting this year...and for some, going up significantly.
