Neither does the 2nd amendment. Its to allow us to protect ourselves FROM the government, not some rabid deer. While I've never been to a gun show, I am surprised that a background check isn't performed. And why can't it? When I bought our pistols at Ba$$Pro, they did a background check, took maybe 10 minutes for paperwork and all. Like they sponsors of the gun show can't afford to set up a dedicated land line? JLC My son bought a 9mm handgun and a handful of ammo at a Lewisville, Tx gun show last weekend. They did a quickie background check on him and he was in and out with his gun in 15 minutes. He sent me a pic he took on his iphone of my 6' tall blonde DIL holding the gun. So I sent him back the pic Josh Randall posted yesterday with the blonde holding an AR15. <g> Metal |
