Sleazy debt collectors (as opposed to regular non-sleazy debt collectors) are taking tactics to a new low, including (it is alleged) threatening to dig up the dead bodies of the debtor's children.
I realize that calling people who don't pay their bills is an annoying job, and if the collection agency offers a commission for money recovered I can also understand the determination of the collectors to force people to pay, but some of this stuff is way over the line.
And that's an interesting paragraph at the bottom about people scamming the debtors into thinking they are paying off the debt, when it is actually going into the scammers' pockets, and the actual debt is still unpaid. I hope that group is shut down fast.
