...house cats have been blamed for the extinction of two species of small mammals in the southeastern United States...
What small mammals have become extinct? Our aggravating cat only seems to drag up squirrels and voles (a type of mole), and there doesn't seem to be any shortage of those species.
We keep expecting her to be eaten by a coyote, since apparently coyotes are pretty quick to gobble up cats.
-Hound (who finds cats aggravating but useful in keeping vermin away from the house - and who finds chihuahuas the only domestic animals more aggravating than cats)
