Aren't the records, if any, of minors sealed? If so, she can answer "no" to any questions about past malfeasance in a CBC (criminal background check). Then she can apprentice with someone like me, learn the business, get licensed and off she goes to a lucrative career.

Records of minors are only "sort-of" sealed. Classified government agencies can a access the records if they need to for National Security purposes such as High Level Top Secret security background checks.
