it's not penny anty games art.....it's big business. Just like with fish.....they might call it some high dollar fish when it's cod or something. If there is a profit motive, people can do shady things....and to expect that the govt is going to stay on top of all this.....chit!
How about that pink slime in ground beef last yr or yr before with ammonia...ewww!
Just because they have regulations doesn't mean they are followed and inspected 100% of the time. People are doing the inspections and the work, a little graft here and there, a blind eye, lazy worker who lets a fecal covered beef carcass go on down the line.

It's bad enough some of the inhumane practices on factory farms and processors. I had to put that aside in my mind and just trust and hope they were treated humanely so I can eat.
