Sounds pretty much identical to plaintiff's lawyers who start lawsuits to tie up businesses. Republicans have been supporting tort reform for many years, usually being blocked by Democrats protecting their plaintiff's lawyer constituency. If Obama were willing to have a comprehensive reform of lawyer abuses of legal prcess, it would probably be worthwhile. I wouldn't hold my breath, though. Seattle Pioneer |
