Probably 90% of Michelins export tires to the US are made in China these days...or Malaysia....

probably the only tires they make in France are ones they sell in the European union...and that is because they tax 'imports' so high that they protect their home manufacturers against any real competition.....
Likely every car made in France must use French tires by law...regardless of the price....
