Note that even with the $85 billion sequester, we will still spend MORE next year than this. More math the media doesn't understand. Sad.

The politicians' premise is flawed and neither party will bring this to light. It is assumed that the government should grow every year at a certain rate. Any reduction in the assumed growth rate is a reckless, heartless, draconian cut that will cause children to starve, the elderly to die, and the loss of firemen, policeman, doctors, government angels, etc.

Nobody wants to discuss why this is not a rational way to go about running the federal government. Until someone can effectively articulate why this false premise will lead us into bankruptcy because it simply is not only mad but unsustainable, bad things will inevitably happen sooner or later.

Perhaps Jedi's hope for this time period to accelerate will be the only hope we have.
