According to this website, most people like their coffee at 175 degrees or more. 190 isn't far from that, and it seems 15 degrees is a reasonable cooling allowance since customers don't drink it the instant they get it from the McDonald's counter. Lombardi's is my idea of perfect pizza; cooked in a 750f coal fired oven that makes the cheese liquid hot, the thin crust slightly charred, properly crisp. If I drop it on my passengers lap while handing them the pizza take-out box, do I get to sue Lombardi's for letting me carry out a piping hot pizza? Should Lombardi's wait until it cools and get a little soggy before they let me take it away? I'm not conflicted on this at all. Let me assume the risk . I prefer blowing on it rather than having to microwave it, turning a culinary artform to cardboard. |
