the farm across the street has added the following business:
septic service with 3000 happy customers
a 5 state forestry service. with them dragging logs into the property and chipping them up.
the town assessor says they are grandfathered. the agai board just came back and said they will not review it. they put multiple address on the same property so that they can claim it is not at an address I filled on.
to me both of them are a commercial business and not farming. the state of mass no longer works in county wide format just town. of course multiple family members work for the town and are on boards. so I have to stick to the law on this one. if nothing else show them for what they are.
I would like to sell this place and when you turn the neighbor hood into a industrial zone that does not help much.
as for the zoning board of appeals they sent me round and round with the different departments so that over 1-1/2 years has past and now they claim my time is up to appeal the judgement of the assessor saying they are grandfathered? like my asking now make's it leagal?
