Annual meetings tend to be more celebratory than interrogative, especially with a company like Disney, especially when the company is performing exceptionally well. Because while we all call ourselves long term investors, our memory seems to be more short term, and when the good times are rolling, we want to just keep on rolling with them.

Who notes that you get more direct and interrogative questions on the quarterly earnings calls where financial performance and future expectations are the topic du jour...
