Do you have a favorite cookbook that embraces this way of eating? But if oatmeal is off the menu, I'm doomed. Love me some oatmeal.

I don't have a cookbook, but I have a column I follow. She also has an email newsletter (free). She also talks about Meditarrean diet and paleo diets.

Oatmeal is high in carbs, but if you keep the rest under control, it might work. Everyone is different. Here's someone who makes the'r hot cereal with ground flaxseed. You should like that. <g>
