I'm doing housework, so since I don't want to do that I decided to take the challenge:
"Sometimes you have to give up on people. Not because you don't care, but because they don't."
great quote I wonder who is the original source.
Don't know. It was unattributed when I spotted it. If I were motivated I could probably find out. But I like it no matter who said it.
Appears to indeed be unknown. But this website has some other gems, too.
"Yes, I understand you are giving an honest opinion. Yes, there is still a line between being honest and being rude."
"Never take away someone's hope for that may be all they have."
"Your beliefs don't make you a better person. Your behavior does."
"Promote what you love instead of bashing what you hate."
And my motto for the boards:
"If your presence can't add value to my life, your absence will make no difference."
