She made the comment "he's worked so hard" and Suze's response was "he's 18, he's only finishing high school, how HARD could have have worked?!".

High school was less stressful because I didn't have to pay bills or worry about my job, but I actually worked longer hours in high school and college than I did once I started working full time. My junior and senior years of high school, I took 6 AP classes each semester, and I was usually up until midnight every night studying, plus most of the day on Saturday and Sunday. I also did a lot of activities - which were fun, but I did them in large part for my college applications and in hopes of getting scholarships. I remember when I got my first job, it was so strange to come home and not have to spend hours studying.

On the other hand, I went to a public university, in large part because of the cost. I got into several private schools but I just couldn't justify the extra cost when my state university had an excellent reputation.
