"I wish I expected more of NPR. At one time, I did, but that's not been the case for a long time now.


It was a poor effort by NPR, but I still expect (and get) better from them more often than not. They are still a cut above corporate media in most cases.

As for Polyermom's complaint, I am guilty as charged.

Right wing ideologues overrun boards like METAR with so many half-truths and stereotypes that I DO give up and go away because it takes too much time and energy to rebut the endless series of lies propounded by right wing liars.

Life is too short and too valuable to spend it rebutting right wing liars on message boards.
