Apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I had surgery on the 26th.
I think we basically agree, but are using different words/viewpoints. Yeah, there are long, rambling posts. One can recognize that certain authors will do that and one can avoid them.
The ones that set me off are the "disguised" rants that are rooted in conservative talking points/dogma, or, at best, are quite misinformed on macroeconomics - along the lines of "we need a strong dollar and to increase our exports". Here's a couple of recent links.
My previous post was just trying to make a point that complaining about the posts aren't going to change them. Either ignore the board or set the posters straight. Setting the posters straight consumes a lot of personal resources, so I sympathize with you.
