Seattle uses taxpayer dollars to subsidize the construction of subsidized housing.
There just isn't much subsidized housing in conservative parts of the state because there is little support for taxing homeowners to build housing for other people.
Au Contraire. They do the same thing out in the tea bag savvy portions of the state too. For example:
