My criteria was/is crystal clear, and doesn't involve drawdown, only the end result when retirement actually arrives.

It's coming...and not back of the envelope, either.
Then why are you trying to introduce a forecasting tool like Monte Carlo analysis? History is history - it already happened.
Since all you're looking at is what actually happend for the first 48 years of your strategy, the historicals can be easily calculated based on what actually happened (even on the back of an envelope).
