Had a heart attack 16 or so years ago and was in a coma for 10 days. That alone was around $120,000, then went to another hospital to get one of the first defibrilators in the area, the was another $50,000, the the batteries wore out on that (normal) in five or so years so another $50,000 , that one shorted out and was covered under warrantee, then five or so years later, the batteries wore out on the next one ... another $50,000 or so .... this one has at least another 4 years left on it.
Guess that answers why great insurance in necessary.
Or just better batteries.
Maybe Obama can fund a solar-battery solution, eh?
