If you don't know, than you're probably not in a good position to sell your place yourself. Each state has its own laws on what stipulations buyers and sellers must meet in a real estate transaction. Any potential buyer is most likely going to be working with a buyer's agent - a professional who's gone through some kind of real estate course/testing. And if a buyer's agent even bothers with a FSBO, you can't bet if you miss any stipulation you're supposed to complete as the seller, they're going to make sure they can get any money due back to their buyer.
