If you were not licensed in that area, is that not an unauthorized fee split?

Is a license required for providing a referral to a licensed RE agent?
I don't think it would be - so then that doesn't apply (at least in my reading of it)
But ignoring that argument, it looks like Texas already has this covered in their code:
