Is it typical for a licensed doctor to not have admitting privledges at local hospitals? I honestly have no idea.

It seems odd to me that we would have doctors that can perform invasive procedures but then if something goes wrong, have no authority or ability to admit their patient.

Perhaps they would have to call an ambulance in either case. *shrug*
