Yeah, but the prosecution case is so weak that the judge doesn't care. The defense won't move a mistrial because there's enough doubt just in the prosecution case that removal of a defense witness or exculpatory evidence won't change anything.

Appeal is a slam dunk even if the jury finds guilty, and the latter is very doubtful.

Unless that is, there is a screaming mob outside the deliberation room--which could happen. I hope that the chantal remnant rain makes it in in time to dampen down the astroturf.
