I read this story yesterday, I think. I love it. I hope they expose these crooks and frauds for what they really are. High fees are nothing more than a legal means of fleecing hard-working Americans out of their retirement savings. It blows my mind how little so many people pay attention to fees, like the 1% to 2% AUM fees charged by so many financial advisors and wealth managers, who then invest your money in high fee mutual funds that actually underperform the general market. I recall seeing an SP500 index fund by some mutual fund company that had a .95% expense ratio, then saw that 100% of the fund was invested in Vangaurd's SP500 index fund. What a joke.
