"Or for people who do most of their driving on the highway. Hybrids are terrific for in-town/city driving where there is a lot of braking to re-juice the battery. Not so much for highway driving, according to ChiliSpouse." - chilichild
I drive a perfectly fine almost new red Versa hatchback but I'd like to get a Scion I.Q. I think they are cute and they get good gas mileage. The problem is that I don't need one - I just want one. I have seen some really low mileage I.Q.s for ~ $12,000 that I have been tempted to buy but so far I've managed to stifle myself and not buy one. I just like cars especially cute little cars that get good gas mileage.
If I could I'd be like Jay Leno and have an airplane hanger full of cars.
