Chrystia Freeland: The rise of the new global super-rich... she predicts social upheaval similar in scope to the Industrial Revolution, among other things.
She's probably wrong... TV, the Internet and Mobile Phones are the "Opiate of the Masses." The unholy trinity that possesses the attention of those who might otherwise be rousing rabble.
So long as people are transfixed/mesmerized, they're not likely to revolt.
I'm sure the global super-rich and their puppets (politicians) are very glad.
