CC, I appreciate your points, but how does this inform your investing?

You think the USA is going to hell in a handbasket? Okay, how are going to invest your money? You think an insurance company guarantee will be solid if we have another Great Depression? Not even!

Like I tell my kids, Don't worry too much about things you cannot control. Spend your energy on things that you *can* control.

On the subject of the US crashing like the Roman Empire: Know what the definition of a survivalist is?
