There was an opinion expressed that insurers are safe. Ray and a few others cautioned that insurers can go out of business.
I have to agree with Ray.
This is why I never EVER invest with an insurance company. EVER.
Well, that's one reason. The other reason is that I really take issue with being taken to the cleaners with fees. ;)
I've tried trading. And once in a while I still make a fairly quick trade. But rarely now. So I could not possibly give any advice on that.
Does look like that company may be in trouble though.
Sometimes reading between the lines takes a really big magnifying glass.
