Have you ever owned your own place before?
If the dishwasher or hot water goes out it's up to you to get it fixed. We put in a new "in the wall" oven yesterday. Hooked up the wires and everything.
All of the appliances are brand new. I am the first one to live in this space since they decommissioned the base back in about 1995 or so. I'll have to look it up.
Do you have any "lawn" at all you have to mow? Bushes? etc?
It will be interesting to see how you adapt to it.
It can't be anything more than just modified apartment living. All of the rooms enter into a common hallway.
Nice TV with cable or Satellite dish. Make your place comfortable.
Because the place used to be Officer Barracks, it doesn't have individualized wiring, cable, heat, etc.... I have a bunch of stuff from my military career, college degree, framed photos of DD, my one share of the Green Bay Packers, etc.... I probably won't have enough walls for it all.
