"In any case, still the original question of how single payer system at state level is superior and preferable to federal level?"

Heh heh

A state has to have a 'balanced' budget. SO it must control and contain costs.

Look no further than MASS, which now has the highest cost of living and the highest taxes in the country.

The wait just to get a doctor's appointment is now up to 2 months. The wait for operations is moving out to six or 8 or more months. The system is imploding and they keep raising taxes to pay for it.

But..they voted for it...and in five years..they'll probably vote to undue most of it..... but it will be too late as the feds will be taking over.....

the feds can borrow and borrow and borrow to run unsustainable programs until the entire country collapses in 10-15 years..

The states like MA and IL may be bankrupt in just a few more years.

If a state goes bankrupt...we can sell it off piece by piece..

If the country goes bankrupt, so does your economy and everything you own. No more value to your dollar. Worse than the great depression. Think Zimbabwe with 25,000 percent annual inflation. You are wiped out. Your savings is wiped out as your bonds are worth zero and your banks are bust and you lose all your savings and your stocks are near zero each.

That's why
