I found an article on NBC regarding people who have no credit score. None. They pay cash for their cars, they've either paid off the house or they rent, they don't have credit cards, and the most they use is a debit card. They have removed themselves completely the credit race. Some of them have been through bankruptcy or struggled with debt and want no part of it.
And some comments from people who like the idea or reject it. I think some people might feel threatened by the idea of not having credit. We're accustomed to having it, and being told we have to have it. Definitely a different idea, but not one I feel I need to practice.
