Not really.

Fox tells its viewers what they want to hear, not what they need to hear.

There have been at least two university studies that I've read (and I did read them) in which they determined Fox viewers were actually less informed than people who watch no news programming at all. Additionally, there was an article which revealed how Fox cheated with their graphics (charts), fudging scales to make things look how they wanted, and in some cases literally lying with the charts (e.g. showing a datapoint as being higher when numerically it was actually lower).

Fox truly is a propaganda station. I'm not being partisan in that statement. All the data tells us that they are.
