The Fool: Who killed Kennedy?
TMFRoyal: The MTV VJ is dead???
The Fool: If you could be the CEO of any public company, which one and why?
TMFRoyal: Any American car company that makes a host of money on its SUVs, say Ford or GM. These companies have one of the greatest opportunities to effect positive environmental change, and they're doing it in an era where the market will reward such forward thinking. They must change their business paradigm and invest in new R&D, in order to produce a green revolution. So much challenge but so many opportunities. These companies have to become nimble and innovative.
The Fool: What has been your best work experience, and what made it so great?
TMFRoyal: Well, I've had several. When I was in high school I was a batboy for the Los Angeles Dodgers during spring training in my hometown of Vero Beach, FL. I met all the players, got autographs, had major league umpires and Tommy Lasorda tell me I was doing a great job. Wow.

I also had a great job when I worked for Ford Motor Company at their European HQ in Cologne, Germany. I worked as an English editor/writer/interviewer/reporter/translator/voiceover specialist. I worked with 15 people representing 7 nations, so I got a pan-European perspective during my stay in Germany. With such colleagues, going in to work each day was a new learning experience.
The Fool: Tell us about your greatest personal success, not necessarily finance related.
TMFRoyal: The 250+-page dissertation on literature that I'm about to write and defend. Walking 450 miles across northern Spain on an ancient pilgrimage route.
The Fool: What's the best product you use that most people don't know about?
TMFRoyal: I say this with complete sincerity: Motley Fool and an online brokerage.
The Fool: What's been your best investment to date, and how did you discover it?
TMFRoyal: Well, many I've discovered after Motley Fool recommendations.
The Fool: Do you have a favorite company or stock which the worldwide Foolish community should know about -- and why?
TMFRoyal: I love MPEL -- it's getting beaten senseless, and senselessly.
The Fool: What celebrity or public figure do you most resemble?
TMFRoyal: I've been told I look like Tom Hanks.
The Fool: List some of your favorite websites, with commentary where appropriate. (Please provide the URLs, too.)
TMFRoyal: straightdope.com -- a website that answers intriguing everyday questions with a lot of humor. Tagline: "Stamping out ignorance since 1973. It's taking longer than we thought..."
