The Fool: Briefly explain how you select stocks.
TMFXLibris: Is this a quality business that makes money efficiently? Is growth strong today, with a clear path toward more tomorrow? Does the company have pricing power? Is free cash flow strong and growing? Does the stock have a realistic chance to double in five years? Do management's incentives align with the health of the business? Does the company have a moat? Is it dedicated to keeping itself relevant in the future? Is it irreplaceable to its customers? Does it make the world a better (or more interesting) place?
The Fool: What's the most overrated idea, person, or event in our culture?
TMFXLibris: Cynics always sound like they're trying to be the smartest kid in high school. Maybe one day they will be.
The Fool: Are we alone in the universe? If not, where is everybody?
TMFXLibris: It's a big universe. Be patient.
