a 1 yr CD paying 4.76 % APY, This is higher than anything in my local area (out west). Is there any catch,Loki said, "You might be able to do better."I've been watching rates over the last couple of months and they're absolutely moving up.A couple of months ago, my local bank was paying 1.75% on a one year CD. They just recently had a "special" offer of 4.05% for a one year CD.For this reason, I've been keeping handy cash investments short. Like 6 month to 1 year duration.I think that in the near future, rates will go even higher. But what do I know?Just my 2¢Andy
