I have an anti-recommendation, this is a book to skip.

It is "A Remarkable Medicine Has Been Overlooked" by Jack Dreyfus.
He is the Dreyfus that founded the Dreyfus Fund. (Remember the lion
coming out of the subway commercial? That one.) The problem is that
the book has only about 20 pages on financial stuff. The rest of the
book is his childhood and a lot of stuff on Dilantin.

The book is not well written. I can't decide if it was incompetently
edited, or was not edited. As an example he refers to the author "Graham Dodd" rather than the Graham and Dodd we are familar with.

The Dilantin stuff seems to verge on crackpottery to me. It certainly
has its uses as an anti-seisure drug, but I doubt it is the wonder
drug he makes it out to be. The wikipedia article on it under
the generic name of phenytoin mentions Dreyfus and that his theories
are not widely held.

Skip this one and read "The Little Book Of Value Investing" by Chris Browne.
