I was just looking at the scoresheet and it occured to me that market timing may well be everything ! !

At least in the term of the just over 4 years GG has been around.


06, 07 and early 08 picks show an awful return. Some do OK against the measuring stick, but in absolute terms, one would have less now than they started with.

Anyone entering GG late in 08 and 09 should be pretty happy with their choices.

The last couple of months in 09 and all of 2010 to this point, are a return to the awful catagory.


Its seems that no matter how deserving the company and the recommendations are, that the general market decides if they are winners or losers.


Now if we could only find a way to know when to take a break and when to go all in, then we would have something. LOL
