A classic example of mosaicism are women! Females inherit 2 X chromosomes (one from the female and the other from the male parent), but in each cell, one of them (randomly chosen) is inactivated.

In line with this news article, every lymphocyte is technically different. During their development, they undergo a process of controlled mutation. Their DNA is cut then imperfectly rejoined. Furthermore, a subset of lymphocytes call the B cells undergo a further process of controlled mutation later on, when they are summoned to make antibodies against an invading pathogen.

When I learned about that, it just blew my mind. I've been studying the immune system ever since!
