With the primaries out of the way , it is time for serious discussion of the positions being presented by the major party candidates. I have only a few requests.

#1 Let's not refight the Florida election of 2000. Rightly or wrongly, that was settled by the Supreme Court in 2001. Let this dead horse stay dead.

#2 Let's not trash Kerry for his anti war record in the Vietman ear. In addition, let's not make him out to be a war hero.

#3 If the Democrats will not bring up Bush's National Guard record, the Republicans will not bring up Clinton's running to Europe to avoid Vietnam. It is hard to defend one without defending the other or visa versa.

Let's talk about Health Care, the Economy , Jobs , Terrorism and national security , the Environment , Jobs , Equal Rights and any other serious issues that need discussion.

Have at it and may the better man win in November.

Finally , as a redident of Winsted , Ct. I wish my fellow hometown resident < Ralph Nadar , would go away for the good of both parties.
