Mike, you mentioned in one of your posts that in recovery we are given a gift. You are so right. The beautiful thing about recovery thru the program is a new life. The tools to free ourselves from fear and bondage of self and addictions. Thank you for reminding me that I have to give it away in order to keep it.You are right about the shenanigans that go on though between some of the people in the program. I have been blessed with some good women friends (and male friends too!) who are supportive and not competitive, both married and single. I think if a person sticks around long enough, makes the decision to commit to an A+ program, and works one, you see the results. Of course, we know none of us are saints. We strive for progress not perfection. <g>
