Six or eight months ago, a teacher friend of mine was talking about how ragingly popular Leap Frog products are with her kids. Her not being an investor, I didn't put too much thought into it since popularity alone doesn't make for a great company. On a lark, I checked out the company when I got home that night, and noticed they had an enormous drop in the share price in the past year.

I did a little looking into, and although I don't recall specifics, I seem to remember they were guilty of inflating their numbers pretty big and were practicing some shady accounting (or something to that extent). I believe their share price had fallen off something like 75%. Whatever the story was, it was enough to make me think nothing of them after that evening.

At any rate, I now see LF getting some good buzz by the Fools. Is this a buying opportunity? The price seems to have tumbled a little recently after a little run-up; is this a company worth owning? Is the management credible now?
