A good CPA and lawyer is a must. I sat down with both before starting my corporation. I still sit down with my lawyer yearly to record meeting minutes, discuss yearly goals, discuss employee pitfalls and legalities, etc. I highly recommend this - it's worth the cash if you have a good resource in this area. These Fool discussion boards have been a very valuable resource to me. Sounds like you are on the right track. Have you checked out the Inc.com site? You can find great info at www.inc.com.I've also payed with www.smbiz.com as a resource. It's great. Or the National Association for the Self Employed at www.nase.org.Don't forget the most important site of all - www.irs.gov. Not trying to be sarcastic, but I often start there if I have a question about write offs, etc. Try www.irs.gov/businesses/small.Good luck to you!Knoxy
