I have a golden retirever who likes to travel far afield. This weekend she apparently found a dead animal. Judging from the leg bone and the jaw bone that she drug home, it's a deer. And judging from the flatulence she must have feasted. We had to bathe her twice to get the smell off of her.

What do you do for dog farts? They are absolutely nasty. My wife and I considered giving her bean-o, but were afraid. Any remedy for this? I hate to leave her outside in the snow.

The best bet is to beat her whenever she farts near you. Over time she will learn that it is not acceptible behavior to fart around people and she will go off someplace private to do it.

Or you could have her butt stitched up...but that could cost a lot of money.

Would this be an acceptable practice to use on a co-worker who has the same problem?
