A little off-topic, but kind of interesting:

Enterprise Value: $250 B
TTM Earnings: $11 B
5-yr EPS growth: 20%
Proj. 5-yr growth: 15%
EV/E, TTM: 23X
PEG, 5-yr: 1.53

Enterprise Value: $330 B
TTM Earnings: $ 40 B
5-yr EPS growth: 73%
Proj. 5-yr growth: 21%
PEG, 5-yr: 0.38

Now, granted, Google and Apple, although seeming arch rivals, earn their money in completely different ways. Nevertheless, the basic story in the press is that Google/Android is trouncing Apple. Well, they sure better be to ever justify those numbers. You're basically paying four times as much for a dollar of earnings from Google as you are for Apple. Good luck with that.

Maybe the most intelligent "hedge" trade is to buy Apple and short Google?
