A lot of universities have special rates for auditing, often free in fact for you seniors.

I've only been a senior four times: My last year of high school, my last years in each of my bachelors degree programs, and for lunch at a diner in Roseburg OR where anyone 55 or older could order from the seniors' menu.

Fifty-seven is not senior for most purposes, certainly not for free classes around here. But it's a good thought and I'm making a note on my 2009 calendar to check to see if they do it for 62 and over.
