All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others

And of course the pigs really knew what they were talking about there. The two most favored class of animals of course:

1.Bush's Farm Fiasco
by James Bovard, August 2002

In May, President Bush signed one of the most wasteful farm bills that Congress has ever enacted. Though the estimated cost of the handouts continues rising ever closer to $200 billion over the next six years, Bush refused to squander any of his political capital protecting the American taxpayer.

860 billion dollars total, over ten years, per the 2002 pig bill. Easily the most equal class of animal judged by amount of pig spending and size of animal class. More pig feed to come this year.

2. President George W. Bush shares a laugh with 82-year-old Margaret Cantrell of Scottsdale, during a Conversation on Medicare Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, at the Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort and Country Club in nearby El Mirage, Ariz. White House photo by Paul Morse

Really strong second place showing, there at the Country Club and Resort. Pretty much all of Medicare Part D unfunded, the second Medicare funding warning will come this year per the legislation, at which point Congress is supposed to "do something". Amazingly, many "conservative" retirees don't thank their lucky stars for living in a radical socialist state, l'etat du mere. Instead, may spend their time whining about their alleged tax burden, and sometimes about France.

As Winston Churchill famously said, "I never liked pigs".
