Morningstar gives this one an A rating for both value and financial condition. They operate in the electronic storage area, a sector with such potential that nearly every analyst out there is touting it as a must have in your asset allocation mix. They trade at a fraction of the multiple for anyone doing anything similar, and are growing very nicely. Has the market simply not found this one yet, or have I overlooked something obvious?
Santiago I CERTAINLY FEEL YOU, I MEAN WE.. ARE SITTNG ON THE PROVERBILE DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH. BE FOOLISH, STAY LONG!!! and??? I look forward to future earnings, posts, and braging rights for such an obvious choice.
does anyone know the difference between the types of storage some like EMC produces as compared to Qualstars. I've been thinking for a while that Qualstar has always been an aquisition prospect in the eyes of one of the big players. Who knows. I don't know many stocks that sit flat after reporting nearly 40% sequential earnings growth though, but the potential bragging rights are sufficient to keep my money here.kyle
The market may not have found this stock overall because they have not been public for very long. Other possibilities are that there are several companies that do tape backup storage. I think the biggest reason nobody is bothering with this company is the size of the float. There are 12.55 million outstanding shares but only 2.5 million are available to trade. Thus, "squeeze" scenarios are too readily possible with this stock. Until the float makes up a significant portion of the outstanding shares, institutions will stay away.Mr. Spindlelegs
