I'm dancing because I won't get a Discover statement this month.

Last month I griped because they posted my final payment (of just over $3k) the day after the due date (the due date was a Saturday, and they posted it on Sunday)...even though my bill payment service sent the payment on Tuesday (4 business days before the due date).

Now I incurred new charges last bill period. But, I sent money to cover the finance charges and the new charges...so it would be zero. Of course, they charged interest for the period.....but the average daily balance was such that I only got hit with 25 cents in finance charges.

However, the minimum finance charge for any period is 50 cents. So that's what they charged me. But, because the closing balance is less than $1...they credited the 50 cents. Making it $0.00.

So that means no statement from them this month.

Though of course, there'll be new charges....my NetFlix subscription and my AT&T ISP...and a few other regular bills charge to my Discover card.

Is is going to be a strange feeling paying a credit bill in full when I do get a statement....maybe I'll dance then as well 8-)
